Sigma Pi Fraternity Announces Partnership with Brother-Owned 1790 Knife Company

Sigma Pi Fraternity is excited to announce a new partnership with 1790 Knife, a premier knife and tool company founded and co-owned by Sigma Pi brother Bill Mooney (Fullerton, CA ’81). Upon launch, this collaboration offers members and supporters of Sigma Pi the opportunity to own a uniquely branded Raptor knife featuring the Sigma Pi logo engraved/annealed on the handle and the Fraternity’s Greek letters annealed on the blade.

The partnership goes beyond the product, as Mooney has committed 15% of all sales from the Sigma Pi-branded knives to benefit the Sigma Pi Foundations, supporting the educational pursuits of our members.

1790 Knife, headquartered in Pendleton, South Carolina, was co-founded by Mooney and Dallas Henry to provide high-quality, old-school craftsmanship in the knife trade. Named in honor of the year Pendleton was founded, 1790 Knife represents the same values of quality and tradition that Sigma Pi members desire.
